LAPD North Hollywood Shootout 30th Anniversary

I purchased this coin on EBay. When I saw the coin for sale, I immediately wanted to add it to my collection. To me, this represents the history of American Law Enforcement. The 1997 North Hollywood shootout was a violent 44-minute gun battle on February 28, 1997, between two heavily armed bank robbers and LAPD officers. Both robbers died, 11 officers and seven civilians were injured, and the incident spurred major changes in police weapon capabilities.
