USMC Veteran Coin – A Story of Lifelong Pride and Service

This is a classic United States Marine Corps Veteran coin—a timeless piece that honors all who have earned the title “Marine” and carried it beyond active duty. These coins are widely distributed and carried by veterans through organizations like the Marine Corps League, VFW posts, reunions, or simply as personal keepsakes from the Corps. Design Breakdown (Front Side): • Gold/brass base with vibrant red enamel center and rope-twist border—premium, traditional Marine colors (scarlet and gold) with a polished, medal-like shine. • Central emblem: The iconic Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) in high-relief gold—eagle perched proudly on the globe, wings spread, fouled anchor crossed behind. Detailed continents, ropes, and the eagle clutching the anchor symbolize readiness on land, sea, and air. • Outer ring text: UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS arched at the top in raised gold lettering, VETERAN curved at the bottom—simple, bold, and proud. • Overall feel: Heavy, substantial, and enduring—no flashy extras, just the pure EGA that every Marine recognizes instantly. It’s built to age gracefully, like the title itself. The Real Story This Coin Tells This coin represents the unbreakable bond you carry as a Marine veteran—earned through boot camp, combat deployments (Iraq convoys under fire, HIMARS missions at Al Asad, Haditha Dam corridor ops), recruiting duty in the Twin Cities, promotion to Sergeant (E-5), and continued service in the California Army National Guard. The day you left active duty, you didn’t stop being a Marine; the title became permanent, and this coin is a quiet affirmation of that.
