DESCRIPTION

A limited run of Kent Armed Response gold spinning star challenge coins. There was a silver version of 100 but these are the gold. When they arrived they needed a bit of customisation. Initially they had a printed 9mm casing image on, but it didn't look as decent as we wanted (our fault on the design, not the supplier). Not wanting to push out a coin we weren't happy with, we got to work and admittedly created a whole heap of admin for ourselves. We took each coin and painstakingly peeled off the original image, and taking spent 9mm casings, sliced off the rim of each, cleaned them up and glued them on with some heavy duty stuff. A few coins have been lost in the process. Such is the way. Not every one is perfect, either with a couple of scuffs or a slipped casing, we didn't get the ruler out, but we feel it adds to the charm. For a couple of knuckle dragging crayon munchers, this was graft! We hope you enjoy this unique ARV coin, we most certainly won't be making any more. The red star spins, the 9mm Luger casing are genuine spent TFU training rounds. The 5 Roman numerals represent the 5 sections (shifts) of the unit. Invicta is a Latin word meaning "unconquered," "invincible," or "undefeated." It is notably used as the motto of Kent County in England.
