Kings Cross Detectives

Kings Cross detectives in Sydney are historically linked to intense, systemic corruption in the 1980s and 90s, particularly during the "Golden Mile" era, where many were involved in drug trafficking and bribery. The 1990s Wood Royal Commission exposed these widespread criminal activities, forcing a major cleanup of the area's police station. Today, Kings Cross Police Area Command serves the area.
